Lisa is a wonderful, empathetic, and relatable teacher who has helped me to improve the quality of my singing exponentially in only 5 months (so far). As an adult learner taking voice lessons for the first time, I continue to be amazed at the way Lisa is able to listen and pinpoint very specific and doable things I can work on in a given week in order to see progress. Since starting lessons with Lisa, the range of notes I can sing comfortably has grown by nearly an octave, and I am able to understand and use breath support far, far better now than ever before. Lisa also does a fantastic job of teaching the expressive/emotional/storytelling side of singing in a way that has been very rewarding for me. I absolutely recommend her!

I would recommend Lisa's voice lessons without hesitation. She is highly qualified - she is knowledgeable both about the physiology of singing (proper vocal technique and vocal care) and about a wide range of musical styles (classical, pop/rock, jazz, etc). But, more importantly, she is an attentive and engaging teacher. She was open to my ideas about what I wanted to study, but also was prepared to offer guidance for selecting songs to work on when I was uncertain. Her teaching style goes beyond just a rote mechanical interpretation of the music and encourages the student to tap into the emotions and context underlying the piece. She really stretched my voice in ways that I wasn't expecting when I started lessons. Taking lessons from Lisa was really a great experience.

I came to Lisa not knowing where i wanted my life to go, just graduated high school and wanted higher education but didn’t have anything that interested me there. I knew one thing though, singing has always been the one thing i go back to, that i always love. I had no technique or previous knowledge before coming to Lisa, and she has helped me grow so much! In less than a year with her fabulous teaching ability i have been able to preform at a few online recitals confidently and am going to continue performing, writing, and expressing myself in a way i never dreamt of. I will always recommend Lisa to anyone at any skill level who wants to begin or perfect the art she is so efficient in!
