Justin is patient and friendly in his teaching methods, with a fine attention to detail that never gets too critical for students to handle. He possesses strengths in both accuracy of notes and emotional evocation when playing, and he makes both cello and piano easy and fun to learn. I highly recommend his studio for students with multiple levels of experience — to be guided by a teacher of such skill would be an immense honour and wonderful opportunity for anyone who’s interested in learning to play.

Justin is a great cello teacher! He always does a great job in making sure that I am prepared for musical events, and he also makes sure I am up-to-date with the music lingo. Justin always does a great job in making sure that I have the correct fingerings and that I know my scales! He really knows cello and piano like the back of his hand.
