★ 5 · Dylan TanguayThis place is the real deal. John, Reva, Thorn, and Amanda have created the most amazing and cozy space, and have stocked it with top of the line equipment. It really is a perfect place to play and record music. Sam McArthur is a gem, and one of the most meticulous engineers I've ever met - it sure shines through in every recording he releases. Maine is extremely lucky to have The Studio Portland.

★ 5 · Willy ChaseIf you're looking for high-end, professional recording for a great value, The Studio Portland is the place to be in New England. They have an impressive collection of equipment, the most striking being the microphone cabinet. Sam, lead engineer, even has a pair of vintage (pre-wall) Neumann U87 condensers. You don't see this level of setup very often outside of major industry hubs like LA, Nashville, etc. Couple that with a Neve-packed API Console, it's a recipe for success no matter what you're working on.

★ 5 · Jim PhillipsWow, wow, wow! Two words sum up taking this class, "HANDS-ON." I thought Pro Tools was out of reach, but from the first day, we began learning the ins and outs. This professional recording studio opens its doors to you and dares you to learn the skills of professional recording engineers. I sat alongside both experienced and aspiring musicians, engineers, and mixers, creating songs heard on the radio the very next week. Obviously, The Recording Studio Portland is a great place to record. I can confirm its a fantastic place to learn.
