Claire is an excellent piano teacher who has guided my son in one year from a disinterested (to put it mildly) beginner to a confident intermediate player that actually enjoys making music. She accomplished this in part by both offering and being open to music pieces outside the standard lesson book that were much more engaging and rewarding to play. She truly goes the extra mile for her students, and I highly recommend her studio!

We are so happy that we found Claire and The Piano Room! Claire is an amazing teacher and my 1O year old daughter Dorothy looks forward to her piano lesson every week! On a recent ride home from piano Dorothy said, "Claire is so fun and awesome." I would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for a piano teacher.

For the past year and a half, I have had the pleasure of taking piano lessons from Claire Helene Bevan. She is charismatic, compassionate, funny, engaging and she is always trying to find new and creative ways of explaining techniques. Having already taken piano lessons for many years before moving up to Maine, I already had experience under my belt. However, Claire Helene taught me so many new techniques and approaches to not only playing but also the mental and intangible aspects of music. Every lesson we would set a weekly goal to work towards, and with discipline and guidance, I found myself efficiently learning new pieces. I am so glad I was able to study with Claire Helene!
