We have been taking lessons from Cheryl for a while now and she is absolutely amazing as a music teacher! My daughter takes violin lessons from her and has helped her make advanced orchestra in school as well as a spot in the Reno Phil Youth Orchestra. Cheryl is an excellent and passionate musician herself, and 100% knows what she is doing. Not only that she is flexible and understanding with scheduling and very compassionate with her students! I would recommend her for piano or violin lessons if your looking to learn a new instrument at any age!

My girls have been taking lessons with Cheryl for a few months now and she has been so lovely, patient and kind. She provides a wonderful learning environment and good structure for the girls to learn and progress. The girls have really enjoyed learning to play piano with Cheryl!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Cheryl is a fantastic music teacher, and I greatly value her insight. We first reached out when my daughter was interested in violin, and Cheryl shared that young students have great success when they start with piano to learn to read music before they pick up the violin. This advice proved vital for us. I think starting with violin at this age would have backfired completely, so now my daughter is learning about music and having a great time with piano, which will let her move to any instrument she wants! Cheryl has a great system for teaching piano and music theory with books that teach things one at a time, so it’s a great pace for my daughter, and we’re laying a solid foundation in music. She’s the best!
