I appreciate her approach of having one parent commit to attending weekly classes for the younger children, as it has allowed us to polish our abilities in sight-reading music while also making practice at home more effective.

We feel so fortunate to have connected with Janapar Piano Studio. Our nine year old daughter had never learned an instrument before and eight months later she is now reading music, playing piano everyday and just performed at an annual recital. Kari's instruction is a wonderful balance of patience, fun and focus. The whole experience is so much more than learning to play the piano as Kari has created a musical community made up of children and families who come together to celebrate the gift of learning to play music at Janapar Piano Studio.

Kari is an amazingly talented, kind and welcoming piano teacher. Having sent my 6yo son to her studio with no music background, she welcomed him, adapted her instructions to gain his attention and really worked with my son to bring out the best in his abilities. We've been with this studio for 9 months or so and my son is picking up new skills with each lesson. He's working on challenging material that excites him and pushes him to grow, all while being held in a welcoming and supportive environment. We would highly recommend Janapar Studio to future students!
