John is a great drum instructor. My son was a beginner and has learned a lot in a few months. My son has a great time in class. John has a great deal of patience with my son who has ADHD and is good at redirecting him. He also knows a good deal about what is expected of kids doing KUSD band so would be good for supplemental lessons for percussion players doing band.
