After being immersed in the New Orleans music and recording scene for 5 years I can honestly say Jack Miele is the best recording and mix engineer in the city if not the south east region. He also possess an extensive knowledge of music theory while maintaining the skills of a virtuoso guitar player making him one of the best Rock producers in the south. Yet his talent is not limited to any genre. Jack has an incredible ear and a knack for getting the best performance out of any artist. I've had the pleasure to know and work with Jack Miele over the years, and I have to say that he is one of the most advanced engineers in the Louisiana area. His musical repertoire in not just multi-genre music history and production, but he is advanced in music theory and songwriting arrangement which is just as impressive. He puts so much attention to actively listening the entire session, and he can spot tonal problems that most won't even catch. He is the type of guy that will pause a recording after a take and help a drummer try out a snappier snare drum or dampen toms for the benefit of a tighter drum tone.
