★ 5 · Nina TarnayNext Note Music — Dan – An Outstanding Guitar Teacher Dan has been an incredible guitar teacher for our family for over ten years, teaching all three of our children and fostering a lifelong love of music in each of them. His ability to connect with students, listen to their musical interests, and tailor lessons to their individual styles makes him truly exceptional. Not only have our kids loved learning from him in person, but they’ve also continued lessons over Zoom even after heading off to college—a testament to how much they enjoy working with him. Dan’s teaching approach is both inspiring and engaging; he encourages creativity, builds confidence, and keeps lessons fun while ensuring steady progress. We feel so fortunate to have had Dan as a teacher and highly recommend him to anyo

★ 5 · Chase OzawaMust read review: Dan is the best teacher I’ve ever had and I don’t say that lightly. I found music at a young age but all it took was one teacher to take that love away. ★ 5 · Sam NicholsonI started taking lessons with Dan from Next Note Music when I was in 1st grade and never stopped until I graduated high school and left for college. My experience with Next Note Music has been absolutely AMAZING. I credit my lessons with Dan to making me the musician I am today. I learned everything about guitar, piano, and music theory. Dan is insanely talented and smart about everything that has to do with music and he’s very good at teaching everything in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. He makes learning music really fun and exciting. Beyond the music, he’s an amazing person. I know he puts a lot of thought into all the teachers he hires — and that will be reflected in the high quality of lessons you’ll receive from anyone at Next Note Music.
