Literally will shelve your record; overcharge you hundreds for simple vocal sessions: one song’s first verse done in four hours equaling to a hefty $500, not agreed upon nor ever stipulated in contracts; won’t give you receipts, and will invent things like “finders fee” to justify holding your masters. His process is flawed, seeing as how most studios these days will charge that kind of money for 10hr session blocks. He knows most artists don’t have the money for lawyers in entertainment matters; so he sits there, with your work, your masters and just flys the middle finger at you. I’ll be in court with this guy for more time than I’d like to be; avoid at ALL costs. There are better and more worthwhile people you could work with.

Jake from the band Anesthesia here. We recorded 2 Albums at Wall of Sound in early 2000s and John did a prefect job capturing who we were and what we were capable of. We had a blast in the process, treated great and honestly some of the best memories in our 25+ years as a band. Those albums are something we're very proud of. John was very enthusiastic about our music and really believed in us and what we were doing. John fired up (recorded albums for) a lot of young metal bands that can all attest to his excitement for our genre, and the fun, raw, and accepting environment he provides. Tami Pacheco leaving a review saying that ANESTHESIA had a poor experience is totally false. Don't appreciate our name being used to try and drag Johns name through the mud. We speak for ourselves.
