Everyone at Woody’s is great! They’re always ready with a recommendation and super friendly. Recently needed a repair on my main acoustic and they had me out the door in under 15 minutes (it wasn’t a major repair but it was an issue that made my guitar non-functional). 10/10 would recommend! Thankful to have such a great shop in town.

Received a disheartening phone call today. My daughter, a Winthrop student, walked to this business, because she was under the impression that they would be able to help tune her cello for free. The associate working confirmed it, so she let them do it. She explained that the owner showed up, and then told her it would be $60 because there were too many adjustments. She declined because she couldn’t afford it. As she was leaving, the owner asked her if she’d paid his associate for the tuning. She told me that she felt confused and bullied, into something that she thought was a free service. I told her to not go back. As a small business supporter, this one will not get it. I welcome a response.
