My wife and I both began piano lessons with Sara last year after our previous teacher moved out of the area. First, we feel so lucky to have found her. My wife and I are at different places musically yet Sara just adjusts to our needs so fluidly during our weekly lessons. She is a vast resource of overall musical knowledge, not just on the piano, using examples and explaining techniques to us that that make it much simpler to learn and apply. I have been a student of piano at this studio for over 10 years and cannot say enough good things about Sara the instructor! I am an adult returning to lessons and have found a new appreciation for music; for the teaching of music; and its for the importance music plays in a well-rounded life. Sara is very patience, very knowledgeable and has an great ability to provide instruction in a positive manner with a goal of both educating the student while allowing the student to put their own mark on a piece of music! If you need a teacher for the times, you have come to the right place!!

I highly recommend this studio and Sara. I have been taking piano lessons from her for over 13 years and there has not been a lesson when I did not learn something new to help me appreciate both the music I am playing and music in general. Her knowledge music history, styles and theory is vast. The pedagogy and methodology is superb. As a teacher myself (of adults and teens) she knows how to explain difficult/confusing concepts clearly, simply and with great sucess! I fall in love with every piece that we work on--even when I don't think I will like it. I have really developed a wider interest in all types of music through her insight. I look forward every week to posing questions and learning more about music. To boot, it is just fun and a joy to work with Sara. A+++!!!
