★ 1 · Abby Mortensonif you are a strings player, stick to Bernhardt in Greenville. this store is definitely not for strings players, though it sells very low quality bows, cases, and instruments. i went to look at cases for my spare violin, and the quality was abysmal…except the prices were high! felt like a cheap $50 amazon case, but for $286. i can get a much nicer bobelock at bernhardt for less money. now, let’s talk bows. they had only one pernambuco bow, no brand or anything. i asked for the price and it was $250. not bad for a spare bow, so i inquired on the return policy. you cannot return the bow if it has rosin on it! how do you test a bow that has no rosin? you also cannot test it in store. the lady (in a slighty snarky, unkind tone) said “well, if it’s open and there is rosin on it, that would rai

★ 5 · Krissi LittleMy son has been taking violin lessons from Music and Arts for 3 years now. Everyone at this store is helpful and kind! I have seen my son's confidence grow tremendously since starting here and the store has always been great about providing us with whatever resources we need!
