Taryn is an incredible instructor. She plays multiple instruments incredibly well and is super generous with her time and also incredibly patient. I’ve learned so much from her and would suggest Blue Jam Music Studio to anyone who wants to expand their musical education!! Worth every penny!

My son has started his piano lessons with Taryn from July 2020 remotely through zoom. I still can not believe how the remote setting worked out so well. Taryn teaches with her heart with tons of patience. Her timely encouragements are truly effective and motivates my son to do his best between the sessions. She has recital programs every few months, were each time I get so emotional to see my son among other of her students play so well, with elegance and grace. We had to try other teachers while Taryn was in her maternity leave (2 months) and by far she is my son's (and myself) favorite teacher. We love her and we feel so blessed to have her.

I have been taking violin lessons with Taryn for years, and my violin skills have improved x1000! Taryn is an extremely talented and accomplished professional musician and vocalist, yet she is very patient and inspirational, and is great at working with beginners--I should know because I came to her as a complete newbie to violin. I used to do in-person lessons in L.A., but for the past couple years, I chose to do all remote lessons. Both have been great, and I can't recommend Blue Jam enough.
