York suffers from a lack of authentic stores with actual character, especially after losing the Sylvia. Thanks Downtown Music for making York a unique place to live.

There real good. my son has been taking lessens there for 3 or 4 years now there great with him he is fixing to be 10 and he can play awesome. He takes violin lesson and he plays the Beatles and many other songs from various artists I think they do an awesome job of your a kid or an adult they give lessens and at a great price. If your looking for lessens or just for instruments then that's your place. vary satisfied

As I walked downtown York I noticed this music store and decided to go in and check it out. I am extremely happy I did! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by an elderly lady who was so joyful we stopped by to check out the store. As me and my cousin walked around i asked if we could look at the guitars hanging in the back by the lesson rooms and sure enough we could and we were accompanied by the owner. He was so genuine and really knew his stuff! I told him I was interested in playing violin and next thing I knew I was getting a lesson from him! I had a really awesome time being there and can't wait to return! Plus we left with ice cream what more could you ask for?
