Luthier and owner (Jonathan) is an overall stand up guy! I met him at the shop approximately 7-8 years ago, after relocating from Texas and enquiring in my new area because of having a need to have my basses action reset (due to climate changes). Jon was the pretty quick at resolving the issues by performing tension rod adjustments. One of my stops at his shop, I observed a piece of buckeye Burl that he was I. The process of cutting for a 5!string custom. This caught my attention so much that I followed his work and enquired even more. We talked regarding this build, and a deposit was made from me to secure this awesome piece for build. Jon was very thorough in communicating with me during the build, and followed through. Jonathan is a very genuine guy. You can really tell he wants the best for his customers. The customer service was very welcoming and friendly. As well as extremely knowledgeable on a wide spectrum of musical instruments an musical accessories. Also his work is incredibly beautiful. I was in awe looking at his work on display. Experience Custom also has competitive prices. 10/10 recommend stopping by for musical needs or even just to look at his work!

I am not sure how their in-store service is, but they are terrible to deal with online. It has been a month since I ordered my item, and they have yet to send it. To make matters worse, they have rarely responded to my messages about it. Starting at the beginning, I messaged them and asked if they could deliver a bass mute before Christmas. This was two weeks in advance. They said “Absolutely,” so I ordered. I should have paid attention to what someone said about them on Reverb: "Really slow shipping and poor communication." I guess I felt comfortable with the confirmation they gave, and plus they’re in a bordering state, so not far at all. With only a few days before Christmas, it still hadn’t shipped.
