Ksenia is obviously a gifted vocalist, but she’s also a talented teacher. She focuses on developing strong technique in her students and teaching them to recognize and correct issues in posture, breathing, vowel placements, etc to really build strong habits. We are so happy we found her to coach our junior high aged singer to start her on a solid path and develop good technique and habits.

Ksenia is the most incredible vocal teacher, and I would absolutely recommend taking lessons with her. I have been an online student of Ksenia’s for about 4 and a half years now, and my voice has improved so much that it is unrecognizable from when I first started. We meet every week over Zoom, and even though Ksenia lives in an entirely different time zone from me, the online meeting format doesn’t make any difference in the quality of training! We work on a variety of both classical/operatic and musical theater songs together, and I have been told many times that my technique stands out in auditions – a strong technical foundation is something that Ksenia has really helped me work toward, which is beneficial for any type of singing. If you really want to learn to sing, you have to take lessons with proffesor Ksenia Berestovskaya. I've been taking lessons for over a year, and she's helped me a lot to improve my singing technique. She's very professional, punctual, and has excellent teaching skills. I've taken lessons with other teachers, and unlike them, Ksenia knows how to make you complete an exercise. If she gives you an exercise and it doesn't work, she changes it with different methods until you reach the goal. Something that really impresses me about her is that it's like she has a laser because she tells you exactly which muscle or tendon you're using incorrectly—incredible! Without a doubt, taking lessons with her is one of the best things that has happened to me during my time in Chicago.
