I have spent several great evenings in Kyle's Music Studio. He is incredibly warm and inviting and carries enthusiasm and knowledge into his teaching and musical expertise. Time spent with him at his office helped me consider works by Greig and other greats in a more intimate way, as Kyle revealed how a composer interacts with musical composition . The office looks just like the photos and has an intimate, but not stifling feel. Beyond the music, his knowledge and small collection of fine wine and various spirits make for charming conversation. Overall, I'd highly recommend spending time learning and growing with Kyle here at his Studio.

Anyone wanting to deepen their understanding and appreciation of music would do well to check out the Music Appreciation Classes by Kyle Barnes. Kyle's love and enthusiasm for music - combined with his warm and respectful teaching style - provide a learning atmosphere for open discussion, varying viewpoints and a deepening of understanding the complexities of music of many genres. He is a highly educated and skilled teacher as well as an accomplished musician and composer. I found him to be an excellent communicator, patient, witty, and challenging through his positive constructive feedback.
