My daughter has been taking lessons with Ken for 4 years now, beginning at the age of 9. His teaching style works great for her - I believe you call it ‘finger style’. We are very happy with her progress and she has a strong desire to continue learning. She goes happily to each lesson. He teaches with a nice mix of choosing the song to be learned as well as asking her what she’d like to learn, and then finding or writing the song to work at her level if need be. This means she has covered different genres also. I highly recommend him as a guitar teacher.

He knows how to connect with his students, make learning fun, and inspire a real love for music. Over the years, I’ve seen my son grow so much in both confidence and ability.
