Sally and Starling Music are the best! My two young children have been taking lessons there for quite some time now, and it is a big part of their lives and a great part of their lives, especially being with Sally. We’ve never had any issues at all and we recommend the studio very highly.

I’m extremely disappointed with how Starling Music handled a recent situation. Due to a last-minute family emergency, we had to miss one session. I reached out immediately, hoping to reschedule or receive a credit, but they refused—no makeup, no refund. I then canceled the remainder of the month’s lessons, and again, they declined to refund anything. Life happens, especially for parents, and I expected more understanding and flexibility from a business working with families and children. Unfortunately, this experience made it clear their priority is money—not the students or families they serve. I can’t recommend Starling Music based on how poorly they treated us when things didn’t go perfectly. There are plenty of other music programs out there that actually care about their clients.

I was a piano student of Emory for 6 months and had to stop due to moving. She was always kind and encouraging even when I didn't practice like I was supposed to. Great instructor!
