I've taken many musical lessons and classes throughout my life, beginning when I was 7 years old, and none of my experiences have come close to what I've learned in my relatively short time with Dick Gordon Jr. It's clear that he's put decades of thought, experimentation, and practice into his teaching methods and the results speak for themselves. I value that he seeks to teach students how to become a musician, rather than how to play songs. I'm amazed at how much I've learned already and I cannot wait to keep progressing. I would strongly recommend Dick Gordon Jr. to anyone who takes music seriously and understands the value of aligning yourself with a true expert.

I have been taking lessons from Dick Gordon Jr for about 1 year now. I can say with much confidence that he is a superior instructor to 99% of the teachers out there. His 40 plus years teaching experience is very apparent when you are exposed to his methods. Over the years I have had many instructors and not one is anywhere near the caliber of Dick. I highly recommend taking lessons from him.
