We've been taking lessons with Megan for over 3 years and couldn't be happier. Megan's approach to learning the piano is easy and fun, while still providing a great musical education. Our daughter loves her lessons and we are so impressed with how good she sounds! Not only is she learning to play the piano, but she is also composing her own music. She really enjoys the extra practice sessions & it makes practice-time easier on all of us! She doesn't love to perform, but the variety of performance opportunities has made performing less stressful and more joyful!

My children, 11 and 15, have been taking piano and musicianship lessons with Megan for over 5 years now. We tried many places and teachers, and I’m so glad we found Megan. I like her teaching style and methodology. My children are not only learning to play an instrument, but they are developing a love for music. They are learning to improvise and compose, which is amazing to see. Megan is an incredible teacher, amazing at her craft, very engaging and creative. She is a supportive and caring mentor to her students and has managed to create a sense of community for them, even though they have only been meeting by Zoom since the pandemic. While growing up, I was under the illusion that all the other families gathered around the piano and sang together during the holidays. Our family neither had a piano nor sang. Thus, I would sing carols to myself using a song book full of sheet music. This Christmas, after starting piano lessons in November with Megan, my family gathered around the piano, grabbed their own instruments (bongos, musical drum, and recorder), and sang Christmas carols with me as I played the piano (using the same book)! We did it!!! I can't describe how much this family music-making meant to me, and it was all because of Megan. For some background, my son and I started piano lessons with Megan because we really enjoy her calm and positive personality and the research- and creative-based approach she uses
