Davy is a masterful engineer. Equally as effective as he is educational, offering lots of insight to the finalization of my album. He mastered my album with a very quick turnaround, and was very receptive to any feedback from each round of drafts. I always felt taken care of especially when handling a project that is very vulnerable & special to me, even when tackling it in a technical way. A very understanding & exceptional individual to work with. Same goes for his ears. My album would have been in SSD purgatory if not for his finishing boost. Thank you 1 bajillion times Davy!

Quebec’s best kept secret. Davy is a brilliant as a producer, photographer, multi-instrumentalist, mix engineer, and most importantly— as a human. The environment in itself nurtures creativity- the pond, vineyard, apiary, gorgeous forest trails, fully equipped studio. No matter the season, those who have recorded or spent time here know how magical it is and we’ve all left pieces of our hearts in this space. This is my literal happy place, I spend a lot of time writing, recording, and getting inspired here. It’s my dog’s happy place too. If you’re called to make music that is authentic and high quality (and you’re a good human too), this is the place for you.

I cannot say enough about Davy and this place. Our band, Les Tireux d’Roches, recorded two albums here, both arranged by Davy. The second one, Tapiskwan Sipi, was deemed “ Best roots album of the year”. A lion’s share of this album’s success is due to Davy’s immense talent. Oh, and he’s really nice too.
