Ian's great. He's extremely compassionate, and really is thoughtful about my personal dexterity limitations. At the same time, he absolutely knows how to get down to business. I've been fiddling around for years on the keyboard, but his multifaceted teaching approach is working wonders after just a couple months!

Both of my kids were taught by Ian and now I am taking lessons. He's a great teacher because he meets you where you are and lets you set goals and pick the tunes you want to work on. I'm working on Jazz standards and chord voicings with him but he is skilled at all genres and is also great help with compositions.
