I re-started piano lessons after 56 years and saw that my playing had degraded because I did not have a structured approach. Kari is a great listener and interpreter of music and now I feel like I can "hear and play" the music as the composers may have intended. If you want to just know how to play the notes, any piano teacher will do, however, if you want to play music, then visit Kari and learn.

No hyperbole here. Fietek Music (Kari) is amazing. I am 65 years old and stumbled upon her fine family and her business while walking in my new neighborhood, I hadn't played the trumpet in over 50 years. I was a ADHD first chair star in 8th grade and that was it. She helped find a used affordable trumpet and despite my age she did it. First lesson I couldn't even "kazoo" with the mouthpiece. In a few months I could play the song I came for (When the Saints Go Marching In)............I haven't played much or continued with lessons since I had to move again........but will always remember this amazing kind patient instructor.... her discipline is "just right" and I will hopefully visit and have another visit despite my lack of focus. Thank you Kari!!

Kari has been absolutely wonderful. My boys are truly enjoying their musical childhoods thanks to her. We couldn’t be more grateful for her patient, generous way of sharing her gifts.
