I spent a long time as a “beginner” guitarist prior to starting lessons with Joe. Since the first lesson, he has provided me with a wealth of knowledge about music theory, history, and guitar. With his guidance, I am finally understanding elements of playing that felt too foreign or challenging to me before. His passion and expertise for music truly shine through for the full length of every lesson, too. I highly recommend Joe as your instructor if there is anyone else out there looking to reach new heights with their guitar playing abilities. Started taking lessons with Joe for about a year now, first for vocals then eventually transitioned into guitar. He is a great teacher, you can tell that he has a strong passion and is very knowledgable by his enthusiasm. He is also very patient and adapts the lessons towards what work for you. My fundamentals of playing a guitar and understanding of music theory has improved. Great teacher and highly recommend if you are looking to pick up or improve your music skills.
