Our kid's teacher is always very kind and teaches with great care. He treats her gently and warmly, almost like a grandfather would treat his granddaughter. We truly appreciate his patience and dedication. We were also very happy that Briggs Music organized a piano recital today. It gave our kid a wonderful opportunity to perform in front of a large audience and to challenge herself without being too nervous. It was a meaningful and valuable new experience for her.

Brad and Julie Briggs are excellent music teachers. Our daughter has been learning the piano with them for about 6 months now and she has developed a keen interest in music. She even performed at her first piano recital! Thank you to everyone at the Briggs Music Studio.

About twelve years ago, I started taking lessons with Julie as my first entry into playing the piano. Though I have not taken lessons for years, music never stopped taking an incredibly important role in my life and I attribute that to my first teachers– it is so common for young students to lose a love for music if it feels like a punishment, or if the teacher forces the student into a box. Taking lessons with Julie, I remember never feeling that way– her style was incredibly gentle, compassionate and effective to boot. I am so lucky to have had Julie as my first teacher and as my first guide into the world of music; I benefit every day from always being able to turn to music to express creativity, for my friends, and for rest and retreat.
