My daughter has been taking lessons (voice and piano) at the Scottsdale Music Studio with Christine since 2022, when she was 8. What has kept us coming back is Christine's extraordinary patience as a teacher. My kid has trouble self-regulating at times, and it can be frustrating, but Christine is amazing at picking up cues and asking her if she's tired, or feeling anxious... she listens with empathy and then resets or redirects as appropriate. Her teaching style is student oriented (rather than just completing pages in a sequence of books) and Christine applies her years of experience as a performer as augmentation to musical theory and piano drills. Couldn’t be happier with our experience at Scottsdale Music Studio. Our son Jack started piano as a first-timer and now he’s reading music and playing with real confidence. The teaching is structured, positive, and professional. They build strong fundamentals while keeping it fun. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience with Christine. My son loved playing piano with her and although baseball eventually won the heart of his time/schedule, he still continues to play around and practice weekly on his piano.
