We love working with Alex and Eric at Spice House! Eric is super organized, fast and talented, so we always manage to get through a lot of tracking for string and brass sessions. We work in film and television with intense deadlines so we appreciate how smoothly things go when we work out of Spice House. The vibe is also super mellow which we appreciate!

Overall, an incredible session, sounded amazing, was painless to set up and get rocking. Eric did a phenomenal job getting amazing tones and was super easy to work with and excited about the project. Equipment was great, amazing vintage mics and amps and a great array of instruments to explore. Will definitely be going back.

We (Driftwood Soldier) recorded our second full-length album at Spice House Sound and would recommend it to anyone who asked (or in this case, Googled). The space is great and Alex and Eric are very good at what they do, but, more importantly to us, they really cared about our project and what we were trying to accomplish with our studio-time. They viewed the eccentricities of our music as interesting challenges and put the time into thinking creatively about how to meet those challenges and capture/create powerful versions of the songs we brought in with us. They didn't condescend to us just because they (re)build vintage mixing boards and we kick trash instead of playing real drums! Highly recommend.
