Acorn Digital has top notch equipment. But most studios do. What distinguishes this place is its owner and engineer John Mulrennan. John has been making music in the NYC market since the 60s. He plays the keys, guitar, bass and can program the best beats I've ever heard produced by machine. His roots are in funk and soul but is comfortable with any genre I throw at him. My album comes out next month and I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. If you are a singer songwriter seeking to record your songs but dont have a band John is your man. Highly recommended!!!
