I’ve been going to orchard studios since I was 9. I started as an electric guitarist and now I play bass, keyboard, vocals, acoustic guitar and slide guitar as well. I always have a lot of fun with Joe when I’m there and we always end up laughing over some old rock trivia. Over the years Joe has become more than just a teacher, but also a friend, he and Mrs. Kim came to my middle school play. Overall, Orchard studio has a special place in my heart and I absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a place to learn an instrument ~Penelope

Orchard studio is amazing! Joe tailors the music lessons to the student’s needs and interests. Our daughter started taking piano and ukelele lessons when she was 3. When I inquired, Joe said that his youngest student has so far been 5 years old but we should come for a free trial lesson to see how our daughter does. Our daughter is now 4 and she has been enjoying her weekly hour long lessons. It is nice that you can see different instruments in the studio and that Joe is highly skilled at all of them. Our daughter saw the drums and is now learning how to play them as well. Joe is an excellent teacher as he is very talented, very patient and makes the lessons fun, engaging and enjoyable. Joe has been an incredible guitar teacher for my daughter, who started with absolutely no experience. His patience, enthusiasm, and ability to make lessons fun have made a huge difference in her confidence and excitement to learn. He explains things clearly and celebrates her progress. She looks forward to every lesson and loves the song she plays. We couldn't be happier with Joe's teaching and highly recommend him.
