Mr. Atella is an amazing teacher! In just a little over three month my daughter made so much progress. She never learned music theory properly and that was her main obstacle in choir. Now she is reading music and learning proper classical voice technique at the same time. Mr. Atella has a great way of explaining music theory without making it intimidating. His lessons are never rushed or stressful. My daughter looks forward to every lesson. They manage to get so much done and just keep building on what was previously learned. I feel confident in his ability to give her an excellent foundation and to develop as a singer. We feel blessed to have found him!

We've only been working with Mr. Joel at Poudre Armonia Music Studio for a few months, but the growth in our daughter's voice is already remarkable. He works with her across a wide range of goals, including choir, musical theatre competitions and roles, singing in different languages, sight reading, and learning to belt safely and age-appropriately. He's technically excellent, but what really sets him apart is how well he connects with teens. He listens, answers questions thoroughly, and builds confidence rather than intimidating. He's also been wonderfully responsive and flexible to work with as a multi-kid family. If you're looking for a voice teacher who meets students where they are and helps them grow in every direction, Joel Atella is the real deal.
