Alyssa has been a wonderful instructor. As an adult who has never taken piano lessons, Alyssa's structured and encouraging approach has made this new experience something I truly look forward to each week. Each class feels productive and fun! She is very intuitive with the skills of her students and provides the perfect combination of challenge and familiarity. Alyssa is very knowledgeable with all things piano! From Technique to history, she explains things very well and provides helpful demonstrations. I recently attended a recital she hosted for all her students and her warmth and thoughtfulness shined over the event and on both, her young and adult learners. I’ve been taking lessons with Ms. Alyssa for about 6 years now and love learning from her. The Suzuki method she teaches is a great balance of reading music, ear training and memorization which is incredibly helpful for me to learn. She’s also just fun and is always open to pieces outside of Suzuki, and wants to keep students engaged and enjoying music. I highly recommend Grace Piano studio for adults and children both.
