I enrolled my son at Cy's music studio to improve his math scores in elementary school, and he enjoyed the class so much my son not only performed publicly but has his own mini recording studio at his home now and two albums out (and aced Organic Chemistry in college). Cy is a patient, skilled music instructor who I trust and respect.

If you want an experienced guitar teacher, who is kind and patient, Cy Torgerson, owner of Haslett Guitar Academy, is the perfect choice. Not only does he have over 50 years of guitar playing experience, but he has the ideal temperament for teaching students of all ages. I’ve known him all my life, and I can vouch for his fine character. He jumps in and accompanies his students for all manner of performances, giving his students confidence and assurance. I would recommend Haslett Guitar Academy if you want a real pro to teach you to play!
