★ 5 · Gary ElliotI recently had the great privilege and pleasure of beginning the recording of an audiobook, in Maximus Medias legendary studio A. The forthcoming audiobook, 'Return to Treasure Island', by John O' Melveny Woods, lends itself to a reading style that has to be captured properly in order to maximize its effectiveness for the listener. Well, studio A, afforded me the opportunity to feel as though I didn't have to hold back. While I was there I learned a little bit about the history of the place. It was founded by Jeff Hall, a lifelong audiophile, who basically built the finest recording facility in the Central Valley. Jeff passed away several years ago, and in a rare act of posthumous generosity, he bequeathed the business to the very capable engineers, videographers, and support staff, that

★ 5 · Melissa AlexanderI don’t remember ever doing a Google review for this studio - I came here back in 2013 I think to record my debut album, “Hear My Cry, O Lord” - an inspirational collection of songs that tell of my experiences. I’ve grown up with music basically all my life. My first solo was when I was two. Anyway, Maximus was wonderful in doing this little album and I’ll always be grateful for their above par, amazing work!
