Gene is one of THE MOST genuine, caring, talented teachers I’ve ever encountered. He truly has a special way of connecting with his students and encouraging them to try new things. Our son has studied guitar, piano, and music production with Gene for several years… he has also been a part of a few small bands where Gene has guided them through writing, playing and producing their own music… it’s amazing to see and hear it all come together! All of these experiences have been phenomenal, and we are forever grateful for Gene and all his hard work! 🙏💗

Gene is truly an excellent musician and also a remarkable instructor. He skillfully brings out the passion for music from deep within children. His own passion for music also seems to burn brightly. My eldest son was able to overcome a slump he was struggling with, thanks to Gene's private lessons during UM's summer camp. Since then, he has continued to take Gene's private lessons online, and each time he falls into a slump, Gene has helped pull him out. Thanks to Gene, my son has started seriously considering pursuing a path to a music college. When he was uncertain about his future, Gene listened to his concerns earnestly. To my son, Gene is truly a wonderful mentor and teacher.
