★ 5 · Ramon JosephIf this school isn't cut out for you, I don't know anywhere else better that you can go to. I was in another music studio before, and didn't do anything else rather than vocalize until every session ended. But when I started coming to Teacher Ruth's class, every session, my parents and I began to see how I got better. She will connect with you (and/or your kids if they're the ones enrolled) on a more personal level and help you in any way she can. And doesn't mean you're not a kid anymore, she wouldn't teach you. She will, no matter how old you are.

★ 5 · Jimmie BrooksHe's exceptionally good at helping young starter musicians get the right physicality, much as how piano teachers are fanatical about hand position and posture. But most of all, he adjusts to whatever your particular skill or mindset happens to be, and encourages you along the way to get the most enjoyment out of the process. As Jason says, "If you don't love playing the instrument, you won't (learn it, play it, want to learn it, want to practice, etc.)
