Femme Rock is awesome. You can join a band or learn to play in a beginner course. I joined my first band about a year ago. I’ve had such a blast meeting and jamming with other musicians, getting to play in 5 different cover bands, and getting to perform on stage for a live crowd. It’s certainly a welcoming community of musicians. I had been playing guitar by myself for years and honestly wasn’t sure how to make playing with other people happen. Thank you Femme Rock for creating this space and bringing all these lovely people together. I would recommend to anyone thinking about joining to definitely sign up and Let’s Rock!

Femme Rock is a one of a kind community! I really can't say enough good things but let me try... I've enjoyed taking voice lessons from Cass with the goal of joining one of their practice bands once I reached intermediate level. That possibility helped me have something to reach for instead of practicing for practicing sake. Once I got into a band (yay!!), I loved being among a group of folks who were all learning in their respective instruments and supported one other in the process. The best part is that the owner and instructors are intentional about creating a welcoming space. They host monthly house parties where I've gotten to know other students and even made a few friends!
