I've wanted to learn how to read music and play the guitar for more than 30 years... Over a period of many weeks I saw Tyler's signs at many intersections around Corpus Christi. Turns out, that was the prompt I needed to pick up the phone last October (2024) and I gave him a call. I'm so glad I did! Tyler is a calm, very patient, and adaptable instructor. I had never picked up a guitar. I didn't know what kind of guitar I wanted, how to tune one, or how to string one. I lacked baseline knowledge of music. Over the last seven months or so, with Tyler's steady support and guidance, I've made remarkable progress; I'm able to read music, play a number of songs, understand the very basics of music theory, and I fully understand now how challenging the guitar is - both mentally and physica
