★ 5 · Al WashingtonThe dance floor was packed from the very first song until the last one of the night—I’ve never seen that happen at a wedding before. People were spilling off the dance floor because no one wanted to stop dancing. It was such an epic night filled with smiles, laughter, and nonstop energy. So many of our guests told us how incredible Marlon and the band were, and now we’re just looking for an excuse to throw another party so we can dance with them again.

He has a wonderful way with kids and makes it fun for our son to play, which is not always easy to do with a teenager. He continues to work on classical music and fiddle tunes while also letting our son choose songs he is eager to learn (Bohemian Rhapsody and Stairway to Heaven are the most recent) and encouraging and working with him to write his own music. He is extremely encouraging, patient, flexible, and kind, yet also lets our son know when it's clear he hasn't practiced much and isn't falsely effusive. In our case, we are happy that our son plays violin but it isn't his first priority, and Ben is willing to work with that.
