I can't express how pleased I am with the 6-track EP my band, Blurse recorded at Azimuth Recording Co. The entire process was smooth and seamless, from tracking, to mixing, to mastering. Brian, our engineer was fast and efficient, and very quick to provide ideas to help polish the tracks we came in with. There is a lot of gear on hand if you don't necessarily want to lug in your own. I used a Kemper Profiler for my guitar tracks and they sound massive. The rates are quite affordable, especially with respect to the quality and level of service provided. If you're looking to record in the San Diego area, I highly recommend Azimuth.

Just finished recording an album with Brian @ Azimuth. Great to work with and beyond ecstatic with how the music came out. Brian is great at what he does and provides an awesome environment and energy for recording. Recording process was great and super efficient and we received great mixes from him very soon after (and plenty of mixes along the way as we recorded different parts to see how they were coming together). When we received the final masters, I texted him for a quick change on one of the tracks and received a new version of the track with that change within 10 minutes of texting him which was AMAZING! Absolutely recommend working with Brian if you're looking for a great recording space and a great engineer/producer in this area!
