I've been working with Josh for almost a year now. He has been instrumental in helping me produce my first album and I'm so grateful to have found someone this thoughtful, detail oriented, and passionate to show me the ropes. Josh has helped guide me along this entire journey. Instead of just mixing my songs for me, he suggested we do mixing lessons (at a very reasonable price) and now I'm confidently able to mix my own music (in Ableton) using everything Josh taught me across our 6 weekly lessons. Josh has been teaching my daughter how to DJ, and some music theory, for over a year. One thing I appreciate is how he explains techniques and then allows space for her to make creative decisions, and he respects those decisions. He doesn't dumb things down and he asks lots of open-ended questions. He is prepared for every session while being flexible in the moment (ie, our computer isn't charged, etc.)He is an attentive, patient, and kind teacher.

I'm thrilled I found Josh to help me build a music studio for recording. I don't know what I'd have done if I didn't find Josh. He is the perfect music professional I needed. Josh certainly has the requisite knowledge to help me make the studio work, and sound amazing. And he's so cool about it. Josh is easy to work with, patient, and accommodating about helping me to understand the capabilities of the equipment I have. I've learned a metric ton from him so far.
