I had the absolute joy of taking voice lessons from Julia when I was younger, and it was such a special experience. She is not only an incredibly talented singer, but also a truly amazing teacher who knows how to bring out the best in her students. Her lessons were always fun, encouraging, and full of positive energy, I always looked forward to them. She creates such a comfortable and supportive environment, which made learning feel exciting instead of intimidating. I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for a wonderful voice teacher!

Hello, My name is Kate lawson, I am now a freshman at John Battle high school, But I started having voice lessons with Julia in 5th grade when I attended Sullins Academy. I started when I got assigned a solo in front of the whole school without ever singing in front of anyone before. She helped me start my vocal career, which for that I’m so grateful. I continued my lessons with her and performed at Julia’s winter and spring recitals. I eventually started to get better and better as I did more lessons and practices. I have never been more grateful for Julia. I then sang in my schools talent show and got first place. I also got confident enough to be a leading role in my schools play. I took voice lessons from Julia for 10 years! Surely that speaks to how much I loved working with her. She took me from a total beginner to someone who felt confident and even excited to perform! Julia is a light in this world. She teaches with warmth and humor and is able to bring out the best in us musically and otherwise.
