My son(8) loves his guitar lessons with Nick. The staff in the store is always very kind and encourage my other children to try out all the instruments while we wait. They sold us a very fair priced guitar. I've already recommended them to my friends.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful instructors, and a comprehensively stocked store. Great rent to own program for instruments, support for area music programs, and free tuning services. A special call out to violin instructor Ms. Chen, who is supportive, communicative, and caring!

I love the instructors at Foxes Music Company. However, the recent and secretive change in ownership from a small locally owned business to one that is now backed by a controlling private equity firm has left me wary about the future. Prices have gone up as of today (1 Mar26) for lessons, but the instructors are not benefiting from this increase. Nor has a plan for renovations been shared with those who use the studio space. This last bastion of a soul in northern Virginia where it was all about the music and the love of music is fading into memory.
