Thank you Bob Novak and Red Bridge Studios for opening your musical home to me. I have played the keyboard since I was about 7 years old (over 30 years). My dad bought me a little hand size keyboard and would teach me songs by ear before I went to bed. It was like storytelling, and I fell in love with the keyboard, piano, classical music, and then later Elton John's music. I started taking piano lessons in elementary and continued through high school. I always had a dream of owning a Yamaha piano but only had the pleasure of playing on my piano teacher's upright Yamaha piano. Today was a dream come true, for the first time I performed and recorded on a Bosendorfer piano at Red Bridge Studios that had the most beautiful sound, touch and response. My fiancé and I went to Red Bridge Studios to record a duet together for our wedding. It was the first time either of us have ever recorded in a studio, so we felt a bit self-conscious at first. Dimitri was so awesome. He was patient with us, gave us fantastic suggestions on how to improve our sound, and was just overall the nicest person to meet and work with. He was an absolute master at editing and putting the track together. We cannot wait to hear the finished product, but judging from just what we heard during playback, I know we’re going to treasure it. It was an awesome experience, and I highly recommend Red Bridge for your recording needs.
