While I have not taken lessons from Anastasia, I have known her for over 20 years. I can say she has a deep passion for teaching classical piano especially to children as she gets great joy seeing them learn and grow in the art of music.

My daughters have been taking piano lessons from Anastasia for just over 6 months. Anastasia has high expectations and wants my girls to be confident and to enjoy playing the piano. She gives them praise when they do well and lets them know she can tell when they haven’t practiced. She is understanding when they don’t enjoy a piece of music but encourages them to find something they like that will help them play it well. She is great at teaching technic and theory, and incorporates music history in her lessons. Her goal is to teach them how to study, so they can learn new pieces when they no longer have a teacher. I highly recommend Anastasia to anyone looking for a piano teacher. My daughters have made so much progress and I enjoy listening to them practice at home.

My three kids love going to Anastasia’s studio. It is bright and cheerful and has a comfortable sofa for waiting. She has taught them piano for 18 months and they are learning by leaps and bounds. Each child has different strengths and she flexes her teaching style for each of them. She’s patient but pushes them too.
