Well I'm a little late in writing this review but my sentiments are still the same as when I was there in April 2017. I found Sandy's place by chance while searching for recording studios in the Knoxville area. A little side note- I live in Southern California. I dreaded the thought of driving to L.A. and decided to drive to my State of birth to do my first album. It may not make much sense but I think it was the best thing I could have done. I was able to totally focus on the music and William "Sandy" Garrett made the process so relaxing and pleasurable. I booked a weeks worth of studio time and we were able to lay down my vocals and guitar in really less time. I made sure I practiced and knew the music before going. Very important for those that want to make it sound good and save yourse

I took several songs we had recorded in a home studio to William, and he mixed and mastered them beautifully! I am thrilled with the outcome; he really helped bring our songs to life. He is also a warm, friendly guy to work with, which helped me feel at ease, considering how personal it feels to have someone working on my own songs. I highly recommend Songwriters Recording Studio! I look forward to working with William again.
