Let me start by saying Mike's is a true gem of a store. Let me also then be honest, when I say that when we first walked in my wife and I were a little unnerved. There were quite a lot of people in the shop. There were also some customers that were playing electric guitars quite loudly and there seemed to be a genuine atmosphere of chaos. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of knowledge the employees possessed and also their friendly nature. They set us up with a wonderful Godin acoustic electric guitar for our daughter. So in the end, I must say that we could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.

I am kinda bummed to leave a bad review because I like the place but the employee I had an interaction with today was kinda a jerk. He went through and talked like my friend and I were bothering him. He was very patronizing. He was not helpful at all, in fact sold us the wrong part. Now we should have done more research on own to prevent this so can’t entirely blame him and its just small inconvenience. Then he went back to playing the guitar before we had even started to leave. I want to support local but it’s a little more expensive but normally you get a great experience, helpful employees, and high quality products. I am sad that this didn’t happen this time.

I bought my daughter’s guitar here. They were so knowledgeable and helpful. They recommended a teacher, Keith, who was outstanding! It was the perfect set up!
