My son takes piano lessons here and we absolutely love it! His instructor is truly amazing and has an incredible way of connecting with him and getting him excited to learn. In such a short time, he’s already learned how to read music and genuinely looks forward to every lesson. Seeing his confidence and love for piano grow has been amazing. I highly recommend this place to other parents looking for a positive, encouraging, and fun learning environment for their kids!

My children have been taking lessons at NW School of Music for a couple of years now (piano, trombone, vocal, and group ensembles). I am continuously impressed with the musicianship of the instructors and their ability to inspire confidence and passion for learning. Lessons are often tailored to individual interests, and the studio embraces a community feel. Teachers are warm and friendly while providing productive/constructive feedback. My children have grown leaps and bounds in their musical abilities, but even more importantly, have found activities they truly enjoy. They have instructors they respect and look to for guidance and are genuinely excited to see each week. Rates are reasonable, performances are plenty, and rewards are tangible. It has been a fantastic experience!

Michael has been a fantastic coach in the few months I've been with NWSM. He's incredibly competent and can offer instant feedback of muscle and physical movement just from one or two listen's of someone's voice. I've been an aspiring singer for over 20 years and taking my first professional lessons with NWSM. Professional is the best word I can find for how good their team is. From onboarding to singing lessons, everyone has been kind, succinct, and outstanding in my experience here. I'd recommend anyone who is interested in music or new to the salem area to check out this school.
