★ 5 · Christian O'BRIANKimberly Taylor is a passionate music teacher who encourages our kids to challenge themselves in their musical endeavors and unlock their full potential. Kimberly has an engaging learning environment and a positive teaching style that resonates well with my children learning the piano. She takes the time to understand our children’s musical preferences by getting to know them and finding musical pieces that my kids are excited to play. Kimberly allows my children to experiment with various musical mediums, that gives them the confidence to develop their own artistic styles and preferences. She uses games and awards that incentivizes my children to ‘level up’ to a new skill. Kimberly teaches them music theory, encourages daily practice, and inspires our children to play for enjoyment.

★ 5 · Toria Burrell-HrencecinI'm writing to share how wonderful Kimberly's piano recital was on June 4th, 2017! Compared to my daughter's previous recital experiences, what really impressed me was: 1. The seating arrangement for the students - in performance order and close to the piano - (as opposed to just sitting randomly in the audience). This made it quick and simple for each student to get up and play, and cut down on wasted time! 2. Putting the students in approximate order of level, rather than interspersing advanced students with beginners. This really created a sense of understanding, appreciation, and anticipation of each level, in the audience (and in the students as they listened to each other, as my daughter told me). 3. Last but best of all: - Kimberly's commentary, before and after each student!

★ 5 · Mark ZeeKimberly is a wonderful piano teacher. Our daughter started taking lessons from her this past year and she loves it and looks forward to Kimberly's visits. Kimberly has a wonderful way with children and tailors our daughters lessons to suit her musical tastes. This has kept her interested and excited about practicing. Kimberly is always positive and patient and always manages to keep frustration from arising. She has always been flexible about adapting to our schedule and making sure we get the lessons that we paid for. In the time that Kimberly has been giving lessons with us, our daughter went from just being able to play simple scales to playing complex two handed tunes, understanding music theory, and even embellishing on her practice pieces with additional chords.
